In a fast-paced commercial project located in Harefield, UB9, Deep Contractors carried out the install of 80m² of our premium M03 Walnut floorboards. The installation was completed in a record time of 8 hours, thanks to the integrated insulation and the floorboards simple design mechanism. The project required a high-quality, durable flooring solution that would elevate the aesthetic of the commercial space while adhering to a tight deadline.
Installation Process:
- Site Preparation:
Deep Contractors ensured the subfloor was thoroughly prepared by making sure it was clean, level, and dry. This was crucial for the longevity of the floorboards and a smooth installation process. - Pre-Insulated Floorboards:
The pre-insulated feature not only provided additional soundproofing and thermal benefits but also meant a simple one sheet 2mm foam underlay could be laid down speedily, drastically cutting down the overall installation time. - Fitting & Precision:
Using a table saw, skill saw and hand router trimmer, Deep Contractors were able to ensure the floorboards were fitted seamlessly. Special care was taken around edges and high-traffic areas to ensure the floor would withstand long-term use without any issues. - Completion & Finishing Touches:
Despite the tight deadline, Deep Contractors reached completion within 24 hours. After installation, the floorboards were inspected for any imperfections, and final adjustments to the beading were made to ensure a flawless finish.
